Where were you born (you don’t have to share the date with us if you don’t want to!) and where do you live now?
I was born in Sheffield, in 1993, making me 17. But now I live near Holmfirth.
Summarise your musical career to date in no more than twenty words!
My musical career is almost non-existent, I have played several instruments, before finally settling on flute, which I have been playing for just over 5 years.
When did you join Shepley Band – and more importantly, why on earth did you join?!
I joined the band about 5 years ago. I didn’t have a choice, as my mother decided, if she was paying for my lessons, she could have another flautist in the band. And I’m glad she did as I have met some amazing people while being there, as well as having some of the best memories I have being from within the band.
Apart from all the hours you put in every day practising (obviously) what else do you get up to in the real world?
I am currently at Greenhead College studying for my A-Levels, with hope of going to Keele University to study Biomedical Science. When I’m not at college, I’m usually adding more colours to my hair, it has been every obscure colour you could imagine, although I have recently settled on pink.
Finally, you found an old oil lamp on your way out of our Christmas Concert. You rubbed it and Jude the Shepley Band Genie appeared and granted you three wishes. What did you wish for?
1. A better looking Genie!!
