Why You Should Join
The Friends of Shepley Band is a highly valued group of people largely made up of regular followers of the Band and family members of the players. The scheme coordinator works very hard to make members feel a part of the Band by providing news, information and offers to involve you in everything we do. The money raised through the Friends scheme is used by the Band to pay for things like music stands, stand banners, uniforms, hire of a rehearsal hall, insurance and of course new music which is sometimes double the price of brass band music as there are so many more instruments that make up a wind band. As we are a self-funding wind band we are reliant on player subscriptions, small local grants that we have to apply for and fund raising initiatives such as this, our popular 50/50 Club, concerts, raffles and of course Band bookings throughout the year.

Concerts
Shepley Band holds 3 - 4 concerts every year. Usually these are in Spring, Summer, Autumn and at Christmas.
