The 50/50 CLUB
A fun way of raising money for Band funds is the 50/50 Club.

Shepley Band has launched a new fundraising initiative - The 50/50 Club. We are looking for 100 people (over the age of 16) to subscribe £1 per month for a number. You can be Band players, their families, Friends of Shepley Band or anyone concerned with the running or interests of Shepley Band. You can have as many numbers as you wish. It’s £12 per number for the year - paid upfront for everyones convenience! The allocated numbers are entered into a monthly draw and the winning number wins 50% of the monthly pot.

Examples      100 people £100 in monthly pot = £50 prize per month
                     40 people £40 in monthly pot = £20 prize per month

The remaining 50% of the monthly pot goes into Band funds to pay for music, music stands, uniforms, hall rental, instrument repairs etc. The draws will take place at the end of every month; the first one on 30th June 2009. Winners will be contacted directly and printed in concert programmes and Newsletters. Join in the fun by applying now! Who knows, you could be our first lucky winner!
